Sale in Wetaskiwin in June. Pot luck BBQ after?

Would any of yous be interested in staying right after the show for a pot luck BBQ?
I know alot will want to get on the road home, but hey, going to have to eat at some point!

I would be game for a potluck afterwards! Never seem to get much of a chance to chat with people as everyone is busy with sales.

Hey guys it's coming fast, wouldn't it be great if you could post on here and let us know if you are bringing, main course, salad, veggies or dessert.
Haven't heard anymore about a BBQ maybe Arctic will know what is happening with that. If so we could bring our own meat and maybe Jonny could cook it for us.

So I will start, I am bringing,

I will bring a dessert or a salad, depending on what we can find at Superstore that morning.

Tear down will be super fast after the sale. We are asking people to take down thier table and put them (if they rented a table) onto the trolly. The tables for the potluck will be set up right away, so we will be ready right away. There are limited electric sockets to plug in crockpots.

Im so excited! This is going to be great.

Do we have a BBQ? I we do, I will bring all the burgers and buns if you give me a rough estimate on how many.

We dont have a BBQ lined up. We thought about having a big ol'BBQ out there, but we didnt know what the timing would be like, where we could put it, if we needed permits etc.

So there is NO BBQ, just let us know what you are bringing so we don't end up with all desserts.
Could someone bring water, pop and juice?

Since we are not going to be able to bring home cookin maybe I could do that Chickeesmom. I will bring a flat of water bottles and some juice as well.
Since there is not a BBQ then maybe someone could cook the hamburgers ahead of time and just keep them warm in a big crock pot for the day? Or didnt Jonny say something about pulled beef????????Maybe I was dreaming that part. LOL

I'll bring a marinated veggie salad and pickles...that's something I can prepare the day ahead. I know that morning will be a frenzy of activity getting everything boxed, loaded and there on time...

I will also bring drinkables.

Here is what I can do. I will pick up a case or 2 of burgers today, BBQ them about 2/3 of the way through, then throw them in the freezer. When I get there we can throw them in a crock pot with some BBQ sauce and have them stew for the afternoon. I only have 2 small crock pots though. Can anyone else bring one too? Does this sound OK for a main dish?
