A. Young man sprinkling his lawn and bushes with pesticides wanted to check the contents of the barrel to see how much pesticide was left in it. He raised the cover and lit his lighter; the vapors inflamed and engulfed him.
His neighbor who had seen what had happened came out of her house with a dozen eggs. She broke them, separating the whites from the yolks. Then she applied the whites on the young mans face. When the EMTs arrived and seen what she had done, they congratulated her and said she had saved the young mans face. By the end of summer, the young man brought the lady a bouquet of roses to thank her. His face was like a baby's skin.
First aid consists of spraying cold water on the affected area until the heat is reduced and stops burning the layers of skin. Then, spread egg whites on the affected area.
The burned area was totally regenerated thanks to the collagen in the egg whites, a placenta full of vitamins.
I wonder if it would work on wrinkles? Lou

I do know people who use egg whites for wrinkles. Impressive at first but don't think it lasts.

I find this most interesting, as I got an email some time ago about the same story, surely do wonder if there is some truth to this....the fountain of youth? I don't know, there are many things in this world that just make ya stand there with your mouth hangin' open. Have a most wonderful day, CynthiaM.

I had seen this e-mail awhile ago. I was baking bread shortly after, and managed to steam-burn the whole back side of my hand. Holy Stars, did that ever hurt! I had no salves or anything of the sort, but lots of eggs, so I gave it a try. It seemed to help the most with the pain when the egg whites were still cool (out of the fridge) once the layer dried, it began to hurt again. I was sure it was gonna blister up, I couldnt move my fingers for the pain. Within oh, probably four hours or so, I felt about 85% better. It never did blister, and wasnt even red the next day.

So there you go, for once theres some truth to those e-mails!
