Goodbye Sam.....

Sam (Liberty's Strong as a Bear) Past away today at 1:50pm. He was in massive pain and finally succumbed to the cancer that was torturing him for months. Sam was a huge part of my life even though he was only here for a short time. He made many friends, and changed how some people thought of Dobermans. For that Sam, I am forever grateful to have been your Human. You were and always will have been my favorite 90 pound lap puppy.

Dan, he certainly lived up to his name (Strong as a Bear) right to the end.

No more pain my Sam, now you can chase all the squirrels you want buddy!

Sam just turned 3 years old last month.......

This is a rough time for you Kelly, you are in my thoughts.
I had the luck of meeting Sam, he was truely a sweet big dog. I know you and your family will miss him.
But he will have many friends up at Rainbow Bridge to play with, and lots of squirels to chase now.

Kelly, I'm so sorry for you. I know how much this hurts. I for sure am one of those folks that had their minds changed about Dobermans knowing Sam. What a doll.

so sorry for you and your family Kelly but it is better for Sam now I know....how lucky he was to have found you when he needed you.

Sorry for your loss. After a while the tears will dry and you will be able to smile when you remember him. Until then though, I am sorry for the hurt.

I have quietly been following Sam's story and am sadden by this news. No doubt he had a special purpose here even though his time was short.

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that in time the past thoughts of Sam will bring joy to your heart and a smile upon your face.
