She has the netting. I made a quick trip to the thrift store to see what they had in their fabric bin. Sometimes there is good stuff in there. Lo and behold there were two huge, canvas tree planting bags! That canvas is excellent and I'm wondering how to incorporate them into a slow feed bag. Will have to sleep on it.
I would love to put hay out in morning and know it will last longer than an hour. However I do worry that skinny racehorse will not be able to pack on the pounds I'd like him to just nibbling one straw of hay at a time. I have also been told that skinny racehorse is likely to always look that way, TB being part of the problem. But I won't give up without a fight! A food fight!
Uno, with skinny race horse, still give him is normal feed as easy access and then have the slow feeder available so he can `graze`all day on it as well as his other feed. Sometimes skinny race horses have ulcers and this slow feeding helps them.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with in design!
