French Wheaten Marans are a beautiful dual purpose breed developed in France particularly for their stunning dark chocolate eggs. They are very friendly birds and lay stunning, large eggs nearly every day.
Blue Orpingtons are a wonderful variation on the Buff orpington. They are a great dual purpose breed, and our bloodlines are more alike the original, full bodied orpington rather then the production llines. We are striving for exhibition quality while maintaining their excellent productivity. There are 2 splash hens, 3 blue hens and 1 black hen with a black rooster, so you should only hatch out blue or black chicks.
