We have 4 little runners and 9 eggs left to go. I can hear the tapping on the shells. This is our first successful indian runner hatch and first successful hatch this year. The mom did all the work. We are happy. Very Happy Hehee!

Now...how do we water big and little ones without the little ones drowning? We have a chick waterer for the ducklings, but have always used a rubber dish for the adults. How do we continue to water the big ones while keeping things safe for the little guys?

We have used a hole cut in a tall water bottle before...should we try that again or does anyone else have great ideas?

I use a rubber tub but either with a smaller rubber tub in it (weighted down) to form a big island. Or a big rock. I find the parents are pretty good and after 3 weeks it isn't such a worry. Goslings anyway.
