Does anyone know if the beets used for sugar/beet pulp are GMO?
I believe that 95% of the US sugar beet market is GMO, but are we?

We actually just did a tour of the sugar beet factory in Taber for 4-H and yes the sugar beets are GMO, the man was appalled my hubby asked the question!
But you should have seen the size of sugar beet they had there on display, he said it was bigger than normal but most are large and there is no way they could grow them to that size if they were not GMO (Roundup ready).

Well what good timing was that!
Thanks for the update.

For some reason, I thought we didn't grow GMO sugar beets. Oh well.
