Wonder how many balls of yarn a house takes.

Careful. This is how cross Canada quilts are born.

Fowler has a strange affinity for large knitted items.

I thought that WAS you Fowler!

Heard about the knitted house on CBC radio yesterday. Artist said she bought the wool but didn't have the chance to get to know the sheep that produced it. Thought I could sell her some of my Shetland wool and she could come and meet my sheep while I go to Hawaii for a week in February. Or something. Always thinking....

I think she knitted the house with her arms instead of knitting needles, but they weren't too forthcoming on those details.

I quite like those crochet viking hats. Might make one for the boy child... Right now I'm knitting hats for Christmas presents. Got my mother in laws done, working on one for my super adorable niece. Next up will be a hat for my ma and then maybe something for me (probably not though).

The hat would be easy. But the beard would take a long time figuring out how to attach everything. Ugh! I think I'll try anyway!

Doug is currently trying to tame a wild kitty. Clearly 6 cats are not enough for him. He needs more. Fowler, could your wife knit one for him?
