My Cornish are SO heavy....how heavy are they?

My LF Cornish were standing on their 2x4 perch. It is 7' long. Half of the young pullets and cockerels were standing on it. 15 birds. It broke in half.

I am pretty stoked by their growth if 15 birds can break a perch!

Did you hear that one of the judges at the Urban Farm Show in Nov is well versed in Cornish!

Funny thing is, they are not that big yet! I fear that when they reach full size they will be going through the floor!

Kyle, People are eager for information on this show! When are you guys gonna share on the forums? I would love to know who the judges are and more about them!

I am not on facebook and don't regularly check out the site. I also have let my membership lapse (due last spring) so I am probably not getting all the emails you are sending out. There are many non members who would love to enter their birds and be a part of this event.

There are lots of people craving more info about this show. Come on, get us excited!
