A great dog show!

This weekend I was up in Grande Prairie for a three day, 6 show weekend. Friends Jen and Shannon were there to help out. I took a litter of three male puppies, seven months old, and their half brother, a lovely adult Schip from a friend in the States.

Well, it was a rousing success! Every dog got a piece of the group at least once and in total I drove home, tired but happy with three Best Puppy in Groups, two Group Fourths, two Group Firsts, two Best Puppies in Show and la piece de resistance, a RESERVE BEST IN SHOW! I am so proud!

Now I have four days to relax and I will be heading to Cold Lake next weekend for another three day, six show weekend!

Wow, a three day, 6 show weekend...wouldn't that be cool if we had a poultry marathon weekend like that!

COngrats Sue what a weekend. I too was at a show but it was not as spectacular as yours. Good luck next weekend.

Rasilon, I was banking on the fact that all the pro handlers would be going to your show but unfortunately it was not the case.  This weekend I will be in Cold Lake and I am hoping the pros will be in Vernon.

Unfortunately your show is during the school year and I believe it also is the weekend of the Schip specialty. I can't even attend that! It is in BC.

I would love to meet you and your tiny herd of Chin. Do you have any nearby shows in the summer months?
