mother earth slept in

There has always been a dog show on the mothers day weekend. And I have notced every year since I started to show that it didn't matter how slow they were that the trees all came into leaf on this weekend. I looked around today and there is not one tree anywhere that has leaves on it. Disturbing.

on the opposite end of that spectrum, we're almost two weeks ahead of schedule in things sprouting and blooming here on the west coast.

Mothers day varies, sometimes by a week each year. I am sure your leaves are on their way and they will be so much more green and welcome when they finally arrive!

it rained all around but for some reason we are in the bottom of the valley and it just passes over or we get the worse
really was looking forward to the rain as it washes off the old and the new just starts to spring and turn green

I'm seeing a few leaves ? and lots that are just about there .It's all behind due to the longer winter and the temps being what they were.........I have seen Dandelions already ? weeds are up and running as well so the leaves won't be far behind

Grass is turning green and trees are really budding out here, WOOOO!!!

Oh well, things are normal here. Green but cold. Usually rains and sometimes snows on the May long weekend. But as long as there is grass I'm happy.
