I wish I knew how to make an chicken saddles. I need some more of those!

Wish I was that clever but thank you for the kind words, makes me feel a lot better. Especially now that I'm struggling with the applique technique I want to do. Had a pep talk at the quilting store this morning (had to go for my Bday 20% discount he he he ), Told them I know nothing about applique and was getting frustrated with my results. (practicing on scraps thank gordon) They talked me off the ledge, gave me a few tips and told me to PUSH through the problem. LOL. I could do it the easy way and use heat & bond, but I'm stubborn and determined to do a finished edge.Schipperkesue wrote:I adore the green in two different directions. Quilt as you go?
Does that mean you are finishing the back as well? Like a sandwich quilt?
