Yesterday, a big owl was sitting all day in a tree at our place. Beautiful animal and I got some nice pictures.
Last night, close to 12 am. we heard a loud, but weird sound. We were almost asleep and couldn't figure out what happened. We checked everything in the house, checked the kids and one of them had heard it too, but didn't know what it was. Well, everything looked fine, let's get back to bed. Lights got turned of, one last look outside, and then we noticed a broken window! It's double glass, so only the outside part was broken, but how?
Sure enough, the big owl was sitting on the ground, looking quite confused. But luckely, as soon as we opened the door, he flew away.
And this morning I saw him sitting in the tree again, I'm so glad he survived Smile
Here a picture that I took yesterday;

He looks like he is planning something nefarious, but who would have guessed it would be a break and enter?
