What is it? (a new game)

OK, here is the game. I am going to post a portion of a larger picture and you have to guess what it is. When someone gets it, then another portion of a picture gets posted....get it?

Must be an eye...but what animal? It looks like a raptor.

Sorry, I forgot about this.

Many of you were close, it is a Collared Sparrowhawk from Australia. I had one of these in my chicken coop, down there, feasting on a Light Sussex cockerel. It wasn't able to get out of the coop on its own and I had to catch it in a horse blanket to release it. Funny thing was, after that they never, ever prayed on my chickens again, just the wild birds that would scatter when I went to the coops.
