Can turkeys live with chickens?

I have heard mixed opinions on this. I would like to try having my Nicholas turkeys with my chickens. Is this OK?
Do I need to have a separate little shelter for the turkeys?
Any help appreciated

One more thing....the Nicholas whites are easiest to clean, right? But they aren't too pretty. Is there another better looking bird that is almost just as easy to clean at butcher time?
