Hi gardeners. You used to be able to buy a powder to dust vegetables
with to keep worms from eatting them . I am planting radishes and was
wondering what you use now since I couldn't find anything on the shelf
to buy. The same dust can be used on broccolli etc.
Thanks

You could try vermiculate(sp?) it's a puffed rock from my understanding.

I save and dry my egg shells, crush them fairly fine, but not powdered and sprinkle them in the row when you plant the seeds and sprinkle on top when you cover the seeds. They work very well and put minerals back in the soil.
