How about a writing or poetry category?

OK there's a few of you out there who like to dabble with the quill, right?
Maybe we could have a category to post some stuff in here to inspire/motivate/share with the rest of you...

I will warn you that mine are pretty much all animal/farm inspired but that's just who I am

Here's one from me to start it off:


"I can never take for granted again
.......an egg.
The perfect package:
smooth brown shell protecting the dark yolk and white within.
A quick meal for me
......a whole day's work for a hen"

Oh Miry, I'm so not a poet but your's was simply lovely. I'd love to see this thread continue.

Not all a poet, but love to read everyone else's.... loves yours Miry, could be in a card for a chicken friend.

I would love to participate here. Most of my poetry, mind you, has sensual/sexual under/overtones. I'll file through some of my smaller pieces to find some without those. I'd hate to stomp on any feet.

I would enjoy reading from a writing category. Though I could see how it would be difficult to find content that would be acceptable to all.
