I have excess tomatoes, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, and herds so have decided to sell them. They are individual in 3" fiber pots. What are they worth? I am also going to do a salad pot with a variety of lettuce and tiny Tim tomatoes in it it will be approx a 6-8" pot-price. I am also going to do a couple herb pots including thyme, basil, parsley, dill, and maybe one more plant. What would they be worth also? Thanks for any help

I had the same issue last year. A lot of left overs after I chose my own seedlings for the garden. I charged 1.00 each and they were snapped up immediately. I live 45 minutes from town and people would drive all the way out to buy 5 little tomato plants...it was quite surprising.

Ask Bowker Acres. She sells a bunch every year.

I'm always sad when I see people not value the time and effort put into items and sell them for way to little - even if they are excess, they still took time and effort to create. If they are well rooted, healthy, and robust, sell them for what they are worth! Take a peek at the nurseries nearby - that'll give you the best idea of what your marketplace will pay for good garden starts. Smile AND I'm sure yours won't be using hormones and superjuice to make them grow...
