My unsuccesful move of roosters yesterday.....and then noticed this one rooster who is super tame...all he ever wants to do is eat. Well..the other day he was right underfoot, and i unknowingly stepped on his toe and he pulled back and ripped his toenail out. Yesterday as i was packing him back to the original coop noticed another toenail just hanging off, and it will come off....
i had kept all of my chickens inside during the nasty weather, and my houses although a little heated still got to -15 when it as really cold. They were all huddled up together, and over their toes nicely....
Do toe nails grow back?...my thought is that they should...but have no idea.

I have no experience with poultry toe nails but I can tell you that a dog's nails almost always grow back
