I have been sitting on the vaccination fence for too long! I've been very lucky so far, but I'm not willing to keep playing the odds and putting my good breeding stock at risk.
So having made the decision to begin a vaccination program, I will start tomorrow by finding a vet who will order me in LT-IVAX. The eye-drop method sounds much less intimidating than injections.
One question, does this vaccine offer any protection from Mareks, or is it only for ILT? Is there any way to protect older chickens from Mareks, or is there only the day-old injection method?
I appreciate anyone's input and advice!
