"Farming in rich and poor nations alike should shift from monoculture towards greater varieties of crops, reduced use of fertilizers and other inputs, greater support for small-scale farmers, and more locally focused production and consumption of food".
This is a press release by the UN...and it is supporting what I think many/most of us already believe in or are working towards. It's nice to see this coming from the UN, now maybe governments will start protecting and supporting agriculture in a more active way. Someone has finally woke up and smelled the coffee - what a boost for the little guy!!!
