I managed to grow a few Brussel Sprouts this year!  The goal was to get enough for Thanksgiving and Christmas...yay...managed that!  cheers This is about half of them.  Not the hugest little gaffers in the world...but better than last time...when I got nada!

How cool is that?! Are they difficult to grow? I would love to try them! Cool

I'm impressed! We try to grow them, but the rats like them better than anything, so we seldom get to eat any. I'm so envious of rat-free Alberta!

Well, they are not particularly hard to grow...but require quite a long growing season....which I don't really have in Northern BC. I chose an early variety, and then started them in the house on March 01st. Just harvested today. I"m wondering if I could get away with fall planting of seeds. Does anybody know?
