Buckeye pullet 2013_b10
With Chantecler_eh? away I find I am spending more time looking at his buckeyes and trying to decide which will be the keepers this fall.
I liked this pullet.
I find it really hard to take pic of the buckeyes as they are not as standoffish as the doms, in fact they come right up to your camera and all I get is big bugeyes in my lens!
They are a very friendly natured and docile bird.
Come on Cynthia, you know you want one! Twisted Evil

She is a pretty little thing. Yes, Miry, one day, one fine day, I will again have room for the breed, but not now. Lovely girl. Have an awesome day, CynthiaM.

I don't know much about Buckeye but I like their structure and cold hardiness. Thanks for sharing pictures of both sexes it is always good to see what is out there.

My PChants are the same way when I take photos. Some are right up and beaking me and others are looking at me very suspiciously wondering what the heck I am pointing at them!

Nice looking Buckeye pullet!
Do you think she or her siblings might make an appearance at the CHB Urban Farm Show on Nov 23-24th???

Ill leave that decision up to chantecler_eh? As I am only the temporary caregiver of the buckeyes at the moment!
I might bring some Dominques however if the weather is decent!
