I remember exactly where i was when this happened. Ihad just come home and turned onthe tv and stood there crying as I watched what was happening. It changed the world forever.
Where were you?

Just had an all-over body shiver.

We were asleep. Phone rang. Voice didn't say hello. Voice said, turn on your TV.

We did and watched with utter horror and disbelief.

Evil exists.

I don't think we will ever forget seeing that on TV either. It was just unbelievable. So very sad. Changed the whole world for us all.

My first kid was only two weeks old... when she was two days old my husband was in a major accident that almost killed him. so he had been off work, recovering from it all. I had just fed her, I think I had put together something for him, coffee probably... walked by, grabbed the baby, walked back and turned on the tv.... still in housecoats. I just remember just dropping like a rock into the couch was we watched in horror. it was so surreal.

I lost a LOT of memory when I got sick. about the last ten years. this one I wont forget.... the details are fuzzy, but I will never forget the feeling. it still makes me want to cry. all those lives, lost, and so close to home....

Here is a link to Louie. If you have read it before its worth reading again. he was the only boxer at the 911 disaster.

Watched this with my grade 5 students. They were 10. I guess they are 22 now. They kept asking if it was a movie.

I was where I am now. Got up. Turned on the morning news. Saw the playback of the first plane hitting the tower. Just looked at it as if it was some sort of movie. Took me a few moments to realize it was real. One of the few times I watched the tv during most of the day. I just couldn't believe it was real.
