I saw a wild/feral turkey today with a newly hatched brood of 7 chicks. I'm thinking that means a late and mild winter if the wild/feral turkeys are still hatching out babies. It's amazing to see them in the wild, in the forest like that, those babies just blend right in.

It could have also lost it's original clutch and had to start over.
