This is the gossip around town, no idea if it's true or not, but there may be some kernel of truth to it.

Apparently George Clooney, Hugh Laurie (House), Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) and The Rock (do not know who that is) are all in our little old cow town shooting a movie. Even though the location is supposed to be hush hush, it really isn't.

I have not spotted a celeb, nor will I go out of my way to do so. But there have been multiple sightings of a black, stretch SUV with blacked out windows driving through town. Nothing like keeping it low key.

Coffee with buds yesterday and they were all atwitter, yes, if they were able, they WOULD go hang out at the shoot sight, since most of the town knows who it is and where it is. Just to catch a glimpse of fame.

Would you? If Mr. Bean, or Mr. Clooney or Mr. Laurie were within 5 miles of your house, would you go for a look? I won't. But my buds are gearing up for it. Hope they get autographs and a story to tell.

Meh, I have always found celebrities to be just like the rest of us. Some are nice, some are jerks. Some are normal, many are narcissistic.

I'd rather meet an interesting non-celebrity, honestly.

I'd love to have coffee with Rowan Atkinson and Hugh Laurie.

Disney producers are shooting a movie using the bottom of my driveway as a location at the beginning of September. Cool hey? I hope they look UP the driveway and want to use my little farmhouse. They pay BIG BUCKS for that stuff. bounce

Nope. My first job was in a marina on the sunshine coast and we had celebrities regularly. Do you really think they want to be mauled by the public? Most of the ones I met, seemed quite happy that I treated them like everyone else, and I met quite a few high profile celebrities.

I've bumped into a few celebrities and I just leave them alone. I would get annoyed if people bugged me when I was out doing stuff. So no, I wouldn't go.

I wouldn't go. There's not many celebs I would be excited to see and I wouldn't want to bother them even if I did want to see them.

Can't imagine what that would be like, just trying to go about your business and people bugging you all the time. "Look! It's YOU! click click snap snap Can I have your autograph?" No, but here's a fork, you can shovel manure as long as you're here.

The Rock is Dwayne Johnson. Ex-wrestler turned actor. Though there's lots of acting in wrestling now -lol
From all the awards shows and types of films these four do, they all appear to be nice enough.
The price they pay for making money, is their loss of privacy.
Bet the movie will be hilarious!
Maybe they will have goats there, if they are making a sequel to "Men Who Stare at Goats"

I loved the part where George Clooney was trying to cook dinner on the solar cooker, and the sun was down. I can still see him kicking the thing....

Ah, three of my favourite actors, and I won't be here to take a peek. I would go and look, not ask for anything and pretend that they were just someone doing something interesting. Does make ya wonder why they choose particular areas for movie shoots. Daughter has had many people take pictures of the red barns on her property that are surrounded by green alfalfa fields, and wedding shoots, in a small way too. Just pretty, red and green. Too bad we won't be here. Oh well, I wudda gone and looked for surely. Have a beautiful day, CynthiaM.

I am a bit like CynthiaM. I would go to have a look at what they are doing, not who they are. People are people to me and I rarely get star struck.
The movie industry fascinates me on many levels and it would be cool to see it up close.

(using the new quick post, let's see if it kicks me out!)
