I am a proud 4-H mom, so have to show off some of my girls accomplishments this year.
My oldest with her Horse Patches, they won first in the grooming class and second in the showmanship class
Amy and Patches getting some last minute advice from Dad, she had some problems in the ring with Patches not wanting to go around the "Scary pylon" but she got her through it and got a third placing in the western class.
This is Amy again getting her certificate for completing her 3rd year of 4-H.
And finally Amy with her two awards, she won most improved rider for the year (this was her first year in light horse and did so well with her pony), and the second award was grand agrigate (she got the most points throughout the day- riding, halter class, written test and record book).
Posing at home for a photo.
My little one Taylor's sign for her "Baby beef calf", she was actually a dairy heifer but that is accepted at this stage in the game.
Here is little Amber, a full blood Jersey we picked up this spring.
Since Taylor was the only Cloverbud doing a baby beef, she got to line up with the heifer class, she was pretty pumped to be up with the "big kids".
Taylor pretty excited to get her 2nd year in 4-H award, a gardening bag and sign.
She was concentrating on getting the job done here, they both did so well.
Heifer line up.
