And a caveate... we have significant flooding, the bridge south of us is washed out and there is potential for the one north.. then I'm stuck. No other way out except the main highway.

Thanks! The highway on the south side of the Springbrook bridge at Skookumchuk, half has washed away... looks like the the beginning of teh bridge cement pieces are off too.
So can't get to Cranbrook at all. Well not straight forward anyway.
At least the rain has stopped for now.
