Ok, looking at the Brinsea 190-does it come with egg trays and do they turn automatically??
Am comparing that one to the Sportsman 1502.
Sportsman looks like you have to buy trays separately??

I NEED/want something completely automatic and dummy proof.

You get a set of universal trays with the brinseas I believe. The trays for the sportsman are not that expensive either.
The 190 holds half the eggs of the 1502, but it is quieter running.
I had the 190 then upgraded size to the 1502. They both have pros and cons.
I have had great hatches in the sportsmans, if you get the humidity bucket system it is pretty fool proof.
The newer ones are a bit easier to clean with malamine type coatings.
Just be careful of import/brokerage fees if bringing it up from the US, much better to drive across the line and pick it up than having it shipped across.

Heres my plug for the Brinseas...I have two 190s, one with the automatic humidiy pump
......they are super quiet and have smaller fans, less power consumption and there is not as much fluff blown around and out into your environment I think.
If you have your incubators in a using part of your house they fit in very nicely, something like a bar fridge and if you stand the eggs up on end and use the dividers across them you can fit about 50-60 eggs in each tray.

Laying down you cannot put as many in and I couldn't figure out how they could claim 190 eggs but now I get it.

Con is, if you need replacement parts they are very slow to get as you have to get from US.
However I have only had 1 breakdown and that was from a huge power surge from our generator...
