My three mottled java gals need a ride from the Okanagan to Red Deer or the Calgary area, preferably Red Deer. I can meet anyone that is going there, providing it is a sensible distance for me to travel. I am about 1.5 hours north of Kelowna, 1.5 hours east of Kamloops, about .5 hours south of Sicamous. I could transport the birds to any of these locations or the thereabouts. Time is marching on and a gal really wants these birds. have an awesome day, CynthiaM.

Oh CathyJK, there you go again, off to the rescue, smiling. I think you meant Friday, February 8 and Sunday February 11. No way on the good green earth could you be a month behind Razz

Ya, have been looking now for about 2 weeks, no one seems to be heading to Alberta and wants to take chickens, smiling again.

So, Friday, that is three days away. Which route you going home? Absolutely, I could pack up girls in a nice big box or whatever size you would like. Meet you for coffee, now wouldn't that be nice, and then send you on your merry way with something special. Got lots of peach salsa in the larder and some dills. Want some? Ya. There is a hinge though. What could you do with the birds for the couple of days until Husband goes to Calgary, if he is going and would be able to transport? I remember the baby blues, you kept them overnight free ranging in the pickup box with the canopy on it. Probably just the time of their lives in there Cool . But, these are hens, still got the truck and canopy you could stick them in for a couple of days? Or a free coop? They are free from parasites and are very nice. Lots of good weight on them so they would stay warm, you are more cold than we are....take this to email and we'll talk more. You are such a helping gal, good things come to people like you. Also, there will be money for gas to help out with Husband's gas money to Alberta from the purchaser of the girls. They are going to a very lovely place. Awesome girl!! You rock, have an awesome day, CynthiaM.

Lord, I feel like I am month behind.. yes I meant this Friday.
I will send you email and we can figure out a time and place.
Jim is, as of tonight, headed to Calgary on Sunday.

We have a nice rabbit hutch, open bottom and I can disinfect before putting them in. They can be in the dairy barn(it's heated - 60-70 degrees) until they go, easy peasy.

It's just three for two days, so the smaller room shouldn't be too bad.
IT sort of looks like this hutch but without the little room on the end. Wire grid floor.

Would love a jar of pickles --they are just the very best!

Cathy, again, you are that shining star!! I'm sure the gals will love the rabbit cage, I wouldn't bother to disinfect it though, that's just me, my girls are used to lots of germs, of all sorts. They are mite free and worm free and have no chicken viruses or dieases, so no worries about any bad stuff coming to your place from mine. The next correspondence will be through email. Thank you girl, and a coffee (or lunch) at Salmon Arm Timmies would work, or dinner, smiling, whatever time you set up, i'll be there. Have a beautiful day, CynthiaM.

No hurry, these gals are giving me three eggs a day, and I can use them Razz for our breakfast tables. Have an awesome day, CynthiaM.
