I am doing the once over on my lights and before I hit those peaks I noticed that all my lights work on the sunny side of the house. The problem lies in the fact that they have no color left on them.

Question : Is there a paint that I can use to re-color them?

Hello, My mom had tried to paint her faded xmas lights with all kinds
of craft paint, house paint even nail polish and they looked terrible .
I am not sure you will find a bulb paint. might be less hassle to
replace them.

Glad you brought it up. It made me go looking and now I'll store my lights in a dark place to preserve the colour. As far as painting, people seem to disagree. I see where one person did it using acrylic but others say it would have to be heat resistant. In short, I don't know.

At Michaels you can buy glass painting supplies. The paint looks good sor a reason, is relatively heat resistant but fades in a couple seasons.
