Hopefully before the snow flies, I will have a new chicken run and coop, and can start moving chickens from their various tractors to their new home. My question is, who do I put in first? I have a mixed grouping of about a dozen chicks (pullets) currently around 5 months old, a pair of sussex hens, a trio of ameraucana hens, and an ameraucana bachelor, who I plan to be the head rooster. They are all a little over a year old. I also will put in a second young rooster, as there are a lot of hens. The chick group is headed by a leghorn rooster. Since he is leader, do I try him in the new pen with the ameraucana, or leave him with the rest of his fellow cockerels in the planned rooster pen and put in a rooster who is lower in the pecking order? I appreciate any thoughts on this (besides all in and all out - too late for that - newbie mistake).

I would only put pullets and hens into the new coop at least for the first while. I would start with the youngest if this is a sizeable group. Then slowly add the next groups until you have the group you want together. I would be very careful putting in more than one rooster unless I have a large coop and a lot of hens.
