Ok, I have a crate to put them in. Do I have to do anything with the holes that are in the crate? What am I allowed to put in the bottome of the crate?
Anything else I need to know to do this right would be very helpful!!!!

I have flown birds from Dan to here in Saskatoon. We used a large dog crate and none of the holes were covered. Shavings were in the bottom along with a little fruit ( I think). Worked liked a charm. He put them on the plane at 5 in Calgary and they arrived here at about 7:30. Everyone fared just great. We used Westjet

I got some from BC (from Emily), she took a chicken create added some hardwire cloth. But a dog create works well to! Mine left bc at 18:00, and got here 06:18 so just over 12 hours and even one of the hens laid an egg in flight! The bottom of my create had a towel (to make sure nothing sept out) and straw
