Silkies for Sale

I have about 18, 2-3 month old Silkies that we hatched this Spring.
May be able to deliver to Saskatoon area mid July, Swift Current or Medicine Hat, AB late July.


We would like $20/pair or $40/trio

Some of the black pullets are quite small and have correct toe color, good middle toe feathering, nice poofs and may be breeder prospects.





The blue/splash ones are bigger and are from a white bearded silkie mom who is a bit bigger herself and just an excellent broody mama.

Added some pics today...seems like they are even harder to photograph than those barred chickens, always look blurry even when theyre in focus!
Our little black hen just hatched 6 silkie eggs yesterday, she is a first time mom but doing great with them, they dont need to huddle under her in this heat wave we're having!
Our white Silkie didnt have such good luck, I think this is her 5th batch so didnt check on her much but she had some eggs under her that werent fertile and she kept sitting on them even though there were two chicks out of the nest so unfortunately they didnt make it so my daughter had to learn not to count her chicks before they are hatched (and kept warm for a bit!)

I might be interested in some Silkies. Can they be sexed yet and how much are you asking and would you be going by Lloydminster?

sorry Saskatoon is all I could manage....
I can make pretty good guesses on the older ones but cant say 100% on sexing the younger ones....

We have 4 silkie roosters left is anyone is looking for one.... 3 black and 1 blue $10 each.
