Hello all,
I've got an Orpington rooster (was supposed to be a poult, but surprise!). He's almost a year old and too aggressive for my small flock. He has one blind eye (unknown cause but it's been that way since he was a few weeks old), and some frost damage to his comb, otherwise he is completely healthy. If you pick up or will be at the Red Deer sale, you can have him for free.
I've also got a lovely natured bantam black cochin hen. She's about 3 years old, and tends to get beat up by the roosters (I had a buff brahma rooster before the Orpington, and had the same problem with her). She's really a sweetie and I hate to give her up, but I don't have room to segregate chickens - also not fair for her to be by herself. Right now, she has a large healing wound on the back of her head from the rooster, but otherwise is also healthy. Same deal as the rooster for price.
