Yep, my Husband is a weird one for sure and I hope this thread will bring a smile or even a giggle to your souls.

If you knew my Husband, you would know exactly what I am speaking to. He is an oddball, a most lovely and wonderful oddball though. This is a man that would take any dare you gave him and just do it. I can’t tell the times that I have dared him to do something and he complies, smiling. Things that come to mind are when I found a horrible larva in the soil, think it was from the mosquito eater, has another name, but doesn’t come to this ol’mind right now. Maybe mosquito hawk. Anyways, those larvae are huge and they live underground and they have pinchers. Well, digging in the lawn egg, found one one day and showed him, of course I get that little evil smile inside and asked him if he wanted to eat it, don’t dare my Husband, he did. And he smiled. He has tasted the two species of asparagus down on the coast, in my massive asparagus patch (oh which reminds me, gotta go to the Armstrong asparagus farm today and get asparagus, think that window for picking is almost closed, but with these rains, bet those last greens poking their beautiful heads through the soil will be huge and tender, smiling), rats, off that topic. I was wondering if the asparagus beetle tasted like asparagus. Well, yes, he tried both varieties and yes, they do, eeks!! Oh well. This fellow is a prankster. Not mean stuff, but does things to make you laugh and does things for surprises for others that will make you laugh too. For years he has celebrated his best friend’s birthday, it is coming up on July 17 th and he is preparing for this, I think something really weird is going to happen this year, eeks!! He has done odd things like phone her 8 or nine times a day, spoke in a different language the birthday wish, sent her email cards by the dozens during a day, all kinds of things to show her how much he loves her. They go back to Grade 2, so that is a whole lotta years of good friends, she is as good a friend to me too, but we only go back 30 years, not over 50, as he -- smiling.

So dear friend’s birthday is coming up. No clue really what he going to do but I think it has to do with an ugly face thing. Last week he wanted me to do a photoshop of him down near the workshop. So off we go, me my camera in my back pocket of my jeans, where it lives life when I am outside, so that was nothing new. He got the air compressor out. Oh man, oh man, what is he gonna do. He told me he was doing something for friend’s birthday surprise gift and needed those pictures that day. Oh, oh, what is he going to do. He said that this was not the only bunch of pictures, but he had set up other things. I haven’t been privy to that yet, smiling.

Yep, he got air compressor hose and pulled it out of the shop. It is long and it can stretch a long, long ways, with Son-in-Law being a mechanic for power sport toys, he needs air long distances away many times. So here is my Husband, making ugly faces using air pressure. There were so many more, but I know how pictures can be difficult for people to download, some are OK other are not. I always resize images to under 100 kb, so downloading on dialup should be easy, but not sure about that one really. Enjoy the pictures, and yes, my wishes to have a most wonderful day, CynthiaM.

Ya, had to do an edit to this post. Silkiebantam had taken a picture of a goat face some time ago and posted it. She sent it to me and I asked if she minded if I put it in the post. I think there are some very, very common things in the view of the two different species of life. Not to say that my Husband is a goat, but boy, take a good look, see what differences you can see, smiling that big smile.

The goat that was laughing, I’ll call it laughing!!
