Well I wasn't expecting a great hatch the first time around as I have never hatched waterfowl before but I wanted to check fertility on my hatching eggs and it turned out to be pretty good so...
We have ducklings for sale now, asking $8 each this week.

There will be a $1/week brooding fee after that and we will be bringing them to Ty's sale in Milo, AB if we don't sell them all now.

There are another 40 in the incubator due to hatch next week(fingers crosssed) and the week after so we may soon have more ducks than chickens around here...

Please email me if you are interested, I would like to sell them in lots of 4 if possible.

they were sold pending pickup today but the ride up to Edmonton fell through and the fellow decided to get more hatching eggs instead.

6 May be spoken for now but we still have 8 ducklings available for sale. Still $8 each this week but after Friday I will be adding $1/week for brooding costs.

Price is for farm pickup but I may be able to meet on the #1 highway near Maple Creek or possibly Medicine Hat or Swift Current as well.

Yes I think I should still have some for Red Deer, I think I will leave the youngest ones at home(just hatched yesterday) and take the older ones to Ty's. So these ones will be 4 weeks old at Red Deer.

I received my shipped eggs from Miry, they were so well packaged, they did have a bit of travelling to do, had a stop over in Regina, not sure why, then got to Lacombe on Monday, I couldn't get in to get them, so they were one week in the Post offices and then into the incubator. All the air sacs look great, so I am hoping for a wonderful hatch of ducklings, ( although I am not counting them just yet Smile .

At what age can you tell boys from girls?

I have 3 eggs in the incubator at 24 days...IF they hatch I might like to buy a couple unrelated duckies to go with them. But it would be nice to know what's what in terms or boys and girls.

Well I don;t know how to sex waterfowl so can't help with that. Last year we weren't positive until October(May hatch) on who was who when they got their adult plumage.
Now looking back at photos I can see who was who in their juvenile plumage (July) just by slight shading differences.
The best you could hope for is to get 3 and hope you have some of each....
