seems like when you have eggs spoken for that is when they stop laying on you!
I guess the only thing you can do is let them know you are at the mercy of the hens and can only predict, not promise chicks on a specific date!
That being said, you could try some natural daylight bulbs w/ more hours than you have them on right now? Although that would probably take 4-5 days before you would see a result.... Crying or Very sad

they do have light in the coop< i could give them a extra jolt of light i guess.... leave them on longer for the next few night? they are on a timer...? of course this was prime time for the shipment as i have a ride for the eggs from dan, so they wouldnt get sloshed around and have a better chance of hatching so i can fill his request...

Try taking some ground beef(because they dont have access to bugs yet) and whole grain, boil it together until the meat is cooked, allow it too cool completely. The bloodier the meat going in the better. As it cools it will soak up most if not all of the water. Add cream, kelp meal (if you have it, if not you can try canola meal), stir it all together and give it to them. Make sure they have plenty of water too. It basically gives them a shot of protein, meat (which they need), and fats which will help give them the idea it is spring and to get to laying. I do this randomly through out winter and I do NOT give heat or extra light and mine dont stop laying.
