Don't know how far you are from Red Deer but an and on kijiji has white silkies 10.00 a pair

My daughter is selling her 4 white hens this year. We might not have them still by Red Deer with 2 sales before hand, but if you wanted her to save one for you we sure could. Just send me an email.
The one hen is 1 year old, the others were just chicks about 6 weeks old when we got them from Wetaskwin in October, they are just Rochester stock so not sure "quality wise" they are. The one is very nice with a big top poof.

Hey Janet if you want to email and see if they'd sell a hen I could bring it to you from Red Deer... we are going to be going thru Calgary on the way to Edmonton on April 23...
