We have the Days Inn available to us for $99. per night. Their sister hotel-Motel 6 is available to us for $75. per night. You must phone in reservation to get this rate and mention Canadian Heritage Breeds

Plunge into our refreshing, indoor pool after swooping down the waterslide, or soak in the hot tub as you watch your kids splash into the pool.

Free Daybreak Café Breakfast featuring yogurt, baked goods, toast, hot & cold cereal, fresh fruit, juice, coffee & tea to ensure your day starts out right.

Free high-speed Internet access in the entire hotel and 24 hour coffee bar so our guests can surf the Internet or check for e-mails from back home while enjoying a freshly brewed coffee.
Mini-fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and hairdryer in all rooms

Motel 6 - Red Deer Phone: 403-340-1749
basic as far as amenities

I guess it depends on how much time you will spend in your room and if you have children as far as what hotel will work best for you. These hotels are the closest to the Westerner Park.

Love the pictures!
When I booked my room at the inn there was no one at the office (lunch break) so they called me back on my cell. I was out at the chicken coop and I have to give credit to the staff...they kept very professional even though I know there were roosters (from squeaky d'uccles to the big guys) crowing in the background.

"So you are with Canadian heritage breeds?"
cock a doodle doo....
"yes, that's correct".
Squeaky little cock a doodle doo
PAUSE "okay then that will be $99 per night plus taxes..."

Yes they seem to be a chicken friendly place...now I know why...good job for breaking them in Liz!
