Rosewood Farm is a vendor at the Sun Peaks Farmers Market. This was our third year at the market and we extend our visits twice monthly during the winter season. There are also a number of extra markets particularly close to Thanksgiving and Christmas. The market is held in the village square which is a cozy walkway between village hotels, shops and restaurants. People stroll leisurely along and stop to chat with neighbours or visitors from the other side of the world. Children run and play along the walkway while dogs stop to sniff, bark or lead their owners along.
Today (September 4th) was an almost perfect day with a deep blue ski between the mountain peaks and to add to the day we had a great band. The band is made up of three members. The keyboard player is the husband of the baker that is the next vendor to us. The other two members sing and they really can sing. The two men are originally from Czechoslovakia (they are old enough that the country was still considered one). Some of their music is European; some is ABBA, some Cash, some Creedence Clearwater Revival and some others. They entertained us for three continuous hours with no breaks. No doubt Hypnotic Blend will be at our market again
