I will try to explain what I am talking about in the easiest manner that I can think of.
I noticed on our forum that there was no way to contact a member through email instead of through personal mails on the forum. The ability to email a member is very important to me, sometimes. Other forums that I belong to, it is a default that in our "information" box, the avatar area, that the ability to do personal mail or email is there already.
If you want to have the email box to show up on your information box, which shows up on the left side of posts, you need to go into your profile and push the button that says "client email software", this will allow that little box to show up beside your personal mail button on your information box. I have done it. Look at a post that I make and you will see the little email button on the far right side, beside the two other little buttons.
This is a personal preference. Some may not wish to be contacted by email, but I do, smiling. So if anyone wants to email me, just go right ahead, smiling again.
Also, something that I think is very important.
Many members do not have their location in their profile for us to see where they live, not exact address, smiling, but general location.
That is very important when it pertains to many things, particularly climate, so we can help if anyone needs help, or when people just want to be nosey, just like me, smiling again. But honestly, curiosity never once got this cat.
Take that moment, go into your profile and update it to tell us where you live, have a beautiful and wonderful day, CynthiaM.
Oh right also, if you don't like to get an email every time you make a post to tell you that you have an email, go into your profile under messaging and turn that option off. I find it annoying to get an email every time I make a post, maybe others like it, but I don't, smiling again (seem to be doing a whole lotta smilin' this mornin'), right, the sun is shinin' and the day surely looks fine!!
