The grandchildren here went for shots from the health nurse yeterday plus went for an outing at aunt's MIL. As the day progressed the youngest became ill and Mom brought him home early. Today all three are taking life easy by mostly watching TV. Most days they are doing chores and playing outside. The unusal thing is the youngest was the only one that didn't get shots.

Ooo, immunization day is always a most dreaded day for the youngsters. I hope the little one feels better soon.

My girls spent the day with their grandma yesterday. They love all the 'one-on-one' time they get from grandma and grandpa. When I got there after work to pick them up, they were sitting outside drinking lemonade, talking and playing cards. No matter how busy grandmas are, they seem to be better at slowing down and taking time to enjoy the grandkids. Grandparents are such a blessing! I love you

Wish it was quiet here too.
Busy getting the kids ready for school on Monday. Then last minute birthday parties, my youngest was at 2 today. Which was kind of a blessing since we had to make a run for feed.
But we have been setting time aside for horse riding, something we just haven't had much time for earlier this summer.
Then we have a wedding to go to this weekend so trying to get everything set up so my house sitter (my brother, LOL) doesn't have to do much.

This summer has gone by so fast for us this year and we have gotten so little done it seems.

I agree it is nice that there are grandparents in this world that take the time out to have some relaxing, slow time with the grandkids, because parents are always so busy it seems...

Maybe it was quieter earlier in the day, but everybody is fussy and against the grain tonight. Our school doesn't start until after Labour Day. One starts grade one then, but kindergarten does not start until the following week. We take turns busing here as the bus does not come up our road. We drive them right to school rather than trying to connect with the bus 2 km from our home. Mom, Dad and kids are going camping for a couple days next week and the two of us will have a couple quiet days while they are away. The quiet when they are camping is far better than the quiet while they are sick

All three back to normal today. Sometimes playing nicely and sometimes arguing nicely like good brothers and sisters.
