Yes, it was a busy out door kind of weekend. All summer we've been saying "What Summer? It skipped us and headed straight into fall, with all this rain!" Well finally, it was a nice, nice weekend. We got a lot done outside. Stuff I've been wanting to get done, but putting off all summer because it has been so miserable out! One of the things I was soooo glad to get done, is to get our horses up and running. They came from a little 'ghost' commuinty called Kemano. Maybe some of you from the northwest have heard of this forgotten place from the not so distant past. We were lucky enough to get ahold of some playground equipment from there. I would like to repaint the smaller horse, but for now, it's rockin'! The kids have been having a blast ridding them, and rounding them up. Even the Adults have gotten on with the kids to go for a ride! Oh the fun!
The little spring horse! Love the grass whip she's got goin'!

And the big red horse. That thing can really get going! I found an old really pretty glass button while I was digging it in.

I know it's not poultry related, but I'm sure some of you will enjoy remembering old playground equipment, and the fun and memories it brought to your childhood.
