Now, I have had this question for quite some time, but never got around to asking here.

Flights are SO very expensive when dealing with animals. So, that got me to thinking...when you would like a bird from a distance away, how do you work a ride overland?

1. Do you buy the bird first and hope that you can find a ride for it?
2. Do you arrange a ride, then look for and pay for a bird?
3. Do you arrange with the breeder that you would like to buy the bird on condition of finding a rider for it from here to there?

I think that covers the scenarios. I would REALLY like to get some birds this year and live close to the #1 in western MB, so if anyone was to go past and was willing to drop something off, I would be thrilled! I see, after browsing the transportation section, that a small fee might be asked for, but that is only fair.

I am looking forward to your answers!
