Monday when chicken crazy daughter got home from work she found one of the broodies had crushed an egg.  Surprisingly the inner membrane was intact and the chick was still alive....for the moment.  This is the photo of the egg.  VERY SAD!

The egg was only a few days off it's hatch date so.......Alyssa is never one to give up and into the incubator went the crushed egg.  This is what we woke up to this morning.

Does the crazy never end Rolling Eyes the little chick from the crushed egg was joined today by its sibling, that is a little directionally challenged (your supposed to come out the other end of the egg silly). After about ten hours of it doing nothing while under the hen, I bought it into the house (so totally loving the Brinsea Octagon 20 that we just got) for some help.
