'fraid so, for the time being anyway.

These are bred from stock i purchased from Patric Lyster years ogo. Last year i crossed with Janets nicest dark cornish hens so there is a little tail drooping, otherwise i like the results

Ya, made some tasty genetic soups along the way.

Smokey, next weekend I am driving to Grande Prairie with an empty truck.

The tractor is sold, there may be one more available, not sure, pending at the moment.

The brooder has a couple broken trims, insulated very well ive brooded with this in the -30 winter with only heat lamps. The interior is in 3 compartments. Each partition has a 120v thermostat controlling the heat lamps so i usually keep them at 70, 80 and 90 degrees in the top one. This building is heavy, 2x6 construction. And Bonus!..an antique cast iron door pull.


The house trailer is up on blocks the way it was dropped off so it should be an easy move for a flat deck. The interior is divided into 8 pens of slightly different sizes. I usually kept between 10 and 20 in each. NOthing fancy, some of you have seen it already, geogrid mesh partitions like the tractors. Lots of options if someone wanted to really pimp it out. Has not been used since last spring.

Reneggaide, what are the dimensions of your brooder?

Dimensions are roughly 4 1/2 wide, 6 1/2 long, 8 high.
