Bantam rhode island red flock

Took a photo of this little flock today, they are such friendly, tame little birds.



You can see the buckeyes in the background in the other pen, they are a slightly lighter shade of red.

I will have some eggs for sale from this flock during month of may. Have a dozen ready to go right away $36/dozen (includes packaging) but you pay shipping.

Deep red plumage, friendliness and good production all in a compact size - whats not to love!

Ha ha. too funny, it is actually the base of an old swivel/rocking chair so I managed to fit two small feeders on top of it! I find they are less likely to bill the feed out if it is a bit up in the air.
You can always pick up a couple lil hens when you are out Jayme's way!   

Haha, nice! and no I couldn't... not if I want a ride home anyway  I made the mistake of counting all my chicks tonight and of course hubby wanted to know just exactly how many I had...well, let's just say the number was eye opening for us both.   lol So yeah. I can't even think of adding any more birds, other than preplanned ones. Nope, cannot do it...not even....say, exactly how much room does a bantie hen need?
