I love the museum at Vulcan, that little museum is a gem...I have a great picture with Spock.

I think I might have to come to the sale, then I can go to the museum again also... Wink Although it looks like the sale will be like going to the zoo!

Thank you.
Yes, the cedar planter-bench is very nice. He just started working at Prairie Cedar, so he had to make something out of cedar :-) Expensive, but it lasts forever. He may take it also to the sale in Vulcan.

Im going to be missing this sale this year  Sad  it is the BEST way to buy stock if you want to chat to the breeders and so nice for the young stock that go directly from the care of the owner to the buyer.
Highly recommended sale!

This year not so many birds from our place.
I will have black tailed buff Japanese, dark Brahma and some Mille Fleur D'Uccle.

Our son has been very busy with his hobby.
Today he worked at Prairie Cedar in Coalhurst.
And look what he brought home!
His employer helped him, but yes, he was allowed to build this shed and take it to Vulcan tomorrow!

If there is anyone interested, please take a flatbed or something to take it home.
It's about 6'X6' inside, plus a deck of about 2'X6'.
Sliding door with window and extra window on one side.
$2200

Had a great turn out at the sale on Saturday. Of course everyone complains about something, some people said there wasn't enough advertising, but with the amount of people through I think it was well known we were all there.
We sold most of what we took, and were not disappointed in what we brought home. I am always amazed at how birds go in cycles, I didn't have enough orloffs last year to go around, and then this year only about a dozen sold. Ducklings sold fast, people love the little cuties. Adult ducks I didn't sell any (oh except one crested rouen).
We had a good time, the venue was nice, easy to clean and set up.
The large door at the back where we were was open all day so a cold breeze blew in, but I was the only one cold, LOL, so wasn't so bad.
I liked the mix of crafts and animals, was a great sale in my opinion, hope you do it again next year Ty.

We had a great time.
We loved the location, very nice, light building.
I sold all my birds (have to say, I had way less than previous years)
Albert sold the planter-bench and the chicken tractor. And he got orders to make
more of those tractor, he is so happy. He also sold some of his small stuff.
But the cedar shed didn't sell. We left it outside on the parking lot, but I don't think many
realised that it was for sale. (although, there was a sign on)
Oh well, doesn't matter, he just takes it back to work on Saturday :-)

There was a lot of neat stuff to see at the sale! I sold out of birds by noon although I have had terrible hatches this year and did not have much to offer.

You weren't the only cold one. I was cold too, but it was a good day.

And I second the hope that Ty runs it again next year!!
