This is my first time trying to sell hens. I have found a lot of roosters homes. None for more than ten dollars. I have too many broody hens hatching chicks this year that I need to let some go. I have three barnevelder crosses. I think the other half is orpington. or I think the first picture is buff sussex . They are good layers but two have gone broody. I want the broody breeds to go. They are ten months old. I was thinking 50 dollars for the three. Is that fair? I know people here sell their pure breeds for about25 or thirty dollars.what are laying hens(crosses) worth?
